COINAGE OF 50-CENT PIECES COMMEMORATING FIFTIETH ANNIVERSARY OF TERMINATION OF THE WAR WITH SPAIN. 80th Congress, 2d Session / House of Representatives, Report No. 1720. April 12, 1948. Committed to the Committee of the Whole House on the State of the Union and ordered to be printed. 9 by 6 inch sheet. 2 pages. Very good. Both documents housed in a governmental envelope addressed to Harry X Boosel. Rarely encountered legislative documents pertaining to proposed commemorative half dollars to be struck in recognition of the 50 year anniversary of the ending of the Spanish-American War. The idea never gained enough traction, and these documents are what remain of it.
