Charles I (1625-1649), Group D, Unite, 1633-1634, Tower (under King), (m.m.) CAROLVS • D .' G .' MAG .' BR .' FR .' ET • HIB .' REX, fourth unjewelled crowned bust left, XX behind, rev. FLORENT CONCORDIA REGNA (m.m.), no stops, crowned oval-garnished shield, dividing crowned cyphers, 9.05g [139.8grns], 5h (Round 633; Brooker 84; North 2153; Spink 2692), somewhat bright and lustrous, otherwise on a neat round flan with residual orange tone in recesses, a most pleasingly bold very fine thus, and very seldom met with in so handsome and uniform high grade.
