George IV (1820-1830), Chantrey's Halfcrown, 1826, bare head left, rev. crowned and garnished shield, edge milled, 14.25g, 7h (Bull 2375; ESC 646; Spink 3809), a sublime gem, light olive tone overlying pearlescent mint lustrous surfaces, good extremely fine or better, but for touch of die wear on highest points.
