NGC MS63 | George IV (1820-1830), Chantrey's Halfcrown, 1829, Type 3, edge milled, 14.09g, 7h (Davies 194; Bull 2378; ESC 649; Pywell-Phillips 502; Spink 3809), probably once wiped with a dry cloth, otherwise bright and lustrous with residual mint frosting, a bolder extremely fine with spots of tone in reverse legends, a scarcer date of issue, in NGC holder, graded MS63 (Cert. #6295510-013).
