NGC MS63 | Victoria (1837-1901), Halfcrown, 1842, type A4, no initials on truncation, rev. eight strings to harp, edge milled, 14.11g, 6h (Davies 565; Bull 2717 albeit string variety unlisted; ESC 675; Spink 3888), some sporadic surface marks, otherwise light purplish-blue cabinet tone overlying lustrous original surfaces, attractive and pleasing, extremely fine, scarce in this superior grade, in NGC holder, graded MS63 (Cert. #6295510-019).
