NGC AU58 | Victoria (1837-1901), Halfcrown, 1845 "over 3", type A4, no initials on truncation, rev. eight strings to harp, edge milled, 14.15g, 6h (Davies 568; Bull 2723; ESC 679; Spink 3888), lightly cleaned with sporadic surface marks, otherwise residually lustrous, a bolder very fine, a reputedly scarce variety but in reality more frequently encountered than the standard catalogue suggests, in NGC holder, graded AU58 (Cert. #6295510-021).
