Britannia seated left with olive branch, trident and shield, SOHO raised on rock to right, ship sailing right at left, legend BRITANNNIA above, 1. FARTHING. below, rosette stop either side, edge grained, 6.69g (Peck 1283; cf. S.3779). Uneven surface texture from past cleaning, some scratches, otherwise very fine, extremely rare.
