Brazil, Maria I (1786-1805), gold Peca of 6,400 Reis, 1800, R mint mark for Rio de Janeiro, bust with veil right, date and mint letter below, legend and toothed border surrounding, MARIA. I. D. G. PORT. ET. ALG. REGINA., rev. crowned shield of arms within ornate frame, edge engrailed, 14.30g (KM226.1; LMB-538). Light contact marks both sides, a more prominent graze in reverse field, otherwise deeply reflective and appealing, extremely fine.

The obverse legend translates as "Maria the First, by the grace of God, Queen of Portugal and the Algarves"
