AWARDED BY THE HYDERABAD ARCHAEOLOGICAL SOCIETY FOR ORIGINAL RESEARCH IN DECCAN HISTORY AND ARCHAEOLOGY, 42mm (BHM -). A specimen in bronze, extremely fine and very rare.

The medal was awarded in gold to recipients and the present example is a specimen originally owned by Allan G Wyon and thence by descent through the family.
