Humphrey Paget, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, GEORGIVS VI D: G: BR: OMN: REX, rev. struck en medaille, crowned emblematic rose, K and G either side of stem for engraver Kruger Gray, thistle over G to left, shamrock over R to right, denomination and date below, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, FID: DEF: : IND: IMP, edge milled (Bull 4077; ESC 957; S.4081). Practically as struck, graded by NGC as PF65.

Mintage 25,000 pieces.
The Latin legend translates as "George the Sixth by the grace of God, King of all the Britons," on the obverse, following on the reverse with "Defender of the Faith, Emperor of India."
We note at time of writing of the 85 pieces graded by NGC only 30 grade higher than this piece. For comparison PCGS have graded 147 pieces of which only 65 are superior.
