ARGOLIS. Epidauros. Circa 290s/280s-270s BC. Hemidrachm (Silver, 15 mm, 2.85 g, 3 h). Laureate and bearded head of Asklepios to left. Rev. Monogram of EΠ (retrograde within laurel wreath. BMC 1-2. Requier Series 1, D3-R3, 79-91. Clear and lightly toned. Erased countermark within an rectangular indent on the reverse, coupled with a curious punch mark on the obverse, otherwise, very fine.
