SELEUKID KINGS OF SYRIA. Seleukos I Nikator, 312-281 BC. (Bronze, 15 mm, 3.33 g, 7 h), Seleukeia on the Tigris , late 280s. Laureate head of Apollo to right. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ / ΣΕΛΕΥΚΟΥ Bull butting to right; above K; in exergue, Θ. SC 149.1. An attractive, well-struck example, with a fine dark green patina. Some minor pitting on the reverse, otherwise, extremely fine.
