Jugate busts to right of Serapis, laureate, bearded and draped, and Isis, crowned, diademed and draped. Rev. ΠTOΛEMAIOY BAΣIΛEΩΣ Eagle with closed wings standing on thunderbolt to left, his head turned back to right, with cornucopia at his shoulder; in field to left, owl facing to left above ME; in field to right, monogram of AP. Landvatter 94-96 var (O-/R-; this obverse die is as yet unrecorded for the mint of Soloi). Svoronos 1136 var. Extremely rare; a complete, spectacular coin of lovely style. Some traces of corrosion and a small edge crack, otherwise, extremely fine.
