AITOLIA, Aitolian League. Circa 225-170 BC. Triobol (Silver, 16 mm, 2.52 g, 6 h). Head of Aetolia to right, wearing kausia. Rev. AITΩΛΩN Calydonian boar right above two monograms; in the exergue, spearhead to right. Cf.BCD 509 ff (similar obverse dies). Tsangari -. Sharp and attractive, with a vigorous boar and a rather rural looking Aetolia. Extremely fine.
