Nanking (Nanjing) is in Kiangsu (Jiangsu) province, but this coin should be listed with the Jiangnan (Kiangnan) coins. Kiangnan is the name of a viceroyalty, under the control of the Viceroy or Governor-General. His seat was at Nanking and the Nanking Mint was under his control
