MALACCA: Ahmad Shah b. Mahmud Shah, 1510-1513, tin pitis (2.10g), SS-9, ahmad ibni / mahmud shah // al-sultan (retrograde) / al-`adil, one of the nicest examples we have ever seen for this typically crude type, Choice EF, RRR. Ahmad Shah took over in 1510/11 when his father abdicated and he was forced out of Malacca when it was conquered by the Portuguese in 1511, but was later executed by his father's order when he failed to retake Malacca in 1513.
