QARAKHANID: LOT of 172 broad copper dirhams, almost all from the late period circa AH 560s-610s, unidentified, loose in a box; mostly Qarakhanid, but also a few Khwarizmshah and early Great Mongol; average well-circulated condition, often weekly struck (as is sadly common for this series), likely that the majority are identifiable with some dedicated study, and reference to the extended listings on Zeno; retail value about $1200; lot of 172 pieces.
