AMIR OF ASTARABAD: LOT of 147 silver coins, struck by the authority of Amir Wali (1356-1386), first in the name of the Golden Horde ruler Jani Beg during his invasion into Iran (undated, but struck AH757-758, type A-2029, 40 pcs), followed by issues in the name of the Chaghatayid Buyan Quli Khan (as Buyan 'Ali, undated, struck AH758-759, type A-2009, 10 pcs), mostly crudely struck as usual for these types; mostly with little wear and no damage; total weight 407g; retail value $2800, lot of 147 pieces. All struck at the mint of Bazar, always undated.
