Stater (Silver, 22 mm, 10.16 g, 6 h). 𐡁𐡏𐡋𐡕𐡓𐡆 ('b'ltrs' in Aramaic) Baaltars seated left on backless throne, his body turned to front, holding grain ear and vine branch with bunch of grapes in his right hand and long scepter in his left; below throne, monogram. Rev. 𐡌𐡆𐡃𐡉 ('mzdy' in Aramaic) Lion attacking stag to left; to lower right, 𐡌 ('m' in Aramaic). Casabonne Series 1, Group C. SNG Levante -. SNG Paris 319. A very well centered and beautifully toned example. Minor pitting on the obverse, otherwise, extremely fine.
