S P Q R OPTIMO PRINCIPI Pax seated left on throne, holding olive branch in her right hand and long scepter in her left; at her feet to left, Dacian kneeling right and raising his arms towards her. BMC 220. Cohen 418. RIC 189. Woytek 220f. A wonderful piece, perfectly centered, lustrous, and with a splendid portrait. The reverse struck from a slightly worn die, otherwise, virtually as struck.
