Marcus Aurelius, as Caesar, 139-161. As (Copper, 26 mm, 10.69 g, 5 h), Rome, 153-154. AVRELIVS CAESAR AVG PII FIL Bare-headed and draped bust of Marcus Aurelius to right. Rev. TR POT VIII COS II / S - C Salus standing front, head to left, leaning left elbow on column, holding egg in her raised right hand and serpent in her left. BMC 1961. Cohen 670. RIC 1319. A beautiful coin, with a very attractive lime green patina and an elegant and sharply struck portrait. Very minor deposits, otherwise, extremely fine.
