Caracalla, 198-217. Antoninianus (Silver, 22 mm, 5.52 g, 1 h), Rome, 217. ANTONINVS PIVS AVG GERM Radiate and draped bust of Caracalla to right, seen from behind. Rev. VICT PARTHICA Victory seated right on cuirass, holding stylus in her right hand and shield inscribed VO / XX and set on her left knee with her left; at her feet, helmet; to left, shield, trumpet and quiver. BMC -. Cohen -. RIC 314b var. (reverse details). Very rare. The obverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, extremely fine.
