Brunei Government of Brunei 500 Dollars 1976 Pick UNL Front and Back Archival Proof PMG Choice Uncirculated 64 (2). Bradbury, Wilkinson & Company designed and printed Government of Brunei notes from the 1960s to the 1980s. This unadopted design for the high denomination $500 is curious, as it matches the designs for the $1 to $100 denominations of the era. The first $500 for Brunei was issued in 1979, and it features a different design than this proof, and a different portrait of the Sultan as well. Printer notations are mentioned for accuracy on this black and white uniface pair.
