Republic Yuan Shih-kai Dollar Year 9 (1920) MS64 PCGS, KM-Y329.6, L&M-77, Kann-666. Nien not connected variety. Fantastic in evey sense of the word, and absolutely brimming with gorgeous eye appeal, each face of the coin showing an array of sunset, magenta, cornflower and blush colors on full display. Almost certainly a piece that was long set aside in a collector's envelope or a coin roll for many years, a fact evinced not only by its toning palette, but also by its lack of serious surface handling; flow lines fill the open expanses on the obverse and reverse alike, with all but the most subtle wisps excluded. Seemingly warranting of a numerically finer designation, if not an added star for its unique visual quality. From the Glorium Collection
