Republic Yuan Shih-kai Dollar Year 3 (1914) MS64 PCGS, KM-Y329, L&M-63, Kann-646. Yuan not connected variety, with strong collar and weak epaulette (patch). A silky near-gem, clearly minted with a somewhat rusty obverse die, resulting in a localized stippled texture over Yuan Shih-kai's epaulette. Nevertheless, the fields appear original and "fresh," full die polish on display as cartwheel luster wheels around the open surfaces. From the Glorium Collection
