HELENA. 2 POUNDS., rev. depiction of Queen Victoria as Una beside a striding lion, her outstretched right hand holding a jewelled sceptre, symbolic of the young Monarch leading her Empire, carrying in her left arm a cross-bearing orb, above Latin inscription DIRIGE DEUS GRESSUS MEOS, the logo of the East India Company in exergue, 62.2g. As struck, accompanied by East India Company box and certificate of authenticity, graded by NGC as PF70 ULTRA CAMEO – FIRST DAY OF ISSUE.
