MS66 | South Africa, gold One Krugerrand, 1967, obverse depicts a portrait of Paul Kruger, President of the South African Republic (1883-1900) left, around above the legend SUID-AFRIKA · SOUTH AFRICA, rev. springbok antelope in centre which divides the date 1967, KRUGERRAND above FYNGOUD 1 OZ FINE GOLD below, initials CLS on bottom right of springbok for designer Coert Laurens Steynberg (KM 73). The popular first year of issue for type, minimal scratching on obverse and reverse, otherwise as struck, graded by NGC as MS66.

Afrikaans legend translates as "South Africa" on the obverse, and "Fine Gold" on the reverse.
