Edward VI (1547-1553), Third Period, Fine Silver Issue, Shillings, 1551-1553, Southwark, (Under-Treasurer, Sir John Yorke) (2), crowned bust facing, rev. square-topped shield over long cross fourchée, 5.69g, 8h, m.m y, edge split with graffiti in fields, largely flat to portrait, the reverse better, poor / fine; another, similar, 5.05g, 7h, m.m. y (North 1937; Spink 2482), darkly toned, flat, creased and crimped, poor (2).
