Elizabeth I (1558-1603), Seventh Issue, Shillings, Tower, .925 Fine (2), ELIZAB.' D.' G.' ANG.' FR.' ET . HIB.' REGI.'. crowned bust left, rev. POSVI DEV.' ADIVTOREM . MEV.', square-topped shield over long cross fourchée, 5.75g, 4h, m.m. 1; another, similar, 5.88g, 10h, m.m. 2 (North 2014; Spink 2584, both evidently soil finds, the first with soil deposits and a nick to rim, the second scored across bust, otherwise both of fuller flans, the first especially neat and round, struck details about fine or better (2).
