(m.m.) • CHRISTO • AVSPICE • REGNO • 1644, oval garnished shield, 28.67g, 4h, m.m. rose (Brooker 1035; North 2557; Spink 3058), struck on a short flan with usual linear and striking softness, underlying tone, good / fine, an entry level example of this notoriously poorly-struck series.
