Rev, reads +SIGEBEARHT MONETA, around solid inner circle containing cross pattée with wedges in angles, 1.16g (S.877; N.211; BMC 5; Naismith C33.1g; SCBI 2 [Hunterian], 387 for reverse). Handsome grey cabinet toning, slightly darker around the periphery, portrait consistently well detailed in the high points, strong in the King's expression. Few unobtrusive nicks, slightly ragged in parts of the edge. Good very fine, rare, complete with an old dealers ticket.
