Rx: C.CAES above, AVGVS.F in exergue, Gaius Caesar on horse galloping r., he wears bulla around neck, holds sword and shield, behind him are a legionary eagle and two standards. Ex Berk 98, 7 October 1997, lot 19. In 8 BC Augustus introduced his twelve-year-old grandson and adopted son Gaius Caesar to the Roman army in Gaul.
