William III (1694-1702), Shilling, 1697, third laureate, cuirassed and draped bust right, rev. four crowned shields cruciform, small lettering, four strings to harp, eight billets, obliquely milled edge, 5.85g, 6h (Bull 1130; ESC 1102; Spink 3505), light flecking otherwise handsomely toned and lustrous with an attractive pink and steel blue tone, extremely fine with frosted detailing.
