William III (1694-1702), 'Plumes' Shilling, 1701, fifth laureate, cuirassed and draped bust right, the 'high hair' variety, rev. four crowned shields cruciform, plumes in angles, seven strings to harp, eight billets, obliquely milled edge, 5.91g, 5h (Bull 1157 [R2]; ESC 1125; Spink 3517), rub to portrait, otherwise toned, a really good fine / very fine, scarce.
Bull 1157 gives seven strings to the harp. Again one is split and so it is possible to count six or seven.
