Anne (1702-1714), Post-Union, Shilling, 1711, third draped bust left, rev. four crowned shields cruciform, six strings to harp, obliquely milled edge, 5.97g, 6h (Bull 1407 [R4]; ESC 1157; Spink 3610), some highly superficial marks on anachronistic bust, otherwise lightly toned, a bolder very fine, a very rare mule.
Reputedly Westminster School School collection, but no listing for a 1708 Plumes Shilling under lot 542 of the Sotheby sale.
