Charles II (1660-1685), Shilling, 1676, second laureate and draped bust right, rev. no stop after HIB, doubled A in MAG, four crowned shields cruciform, five strings to harp, obliquely milled edge, 5.92g, 6h (Bull 536; ESC 1047; Pywell-Phillips 65; Spink 3375), lightly scratched and haymarked surfaces, otherwise central devices struck-up, richly toned with hues of ochre, near very fine.
