Imperial Bank of China, 5 mace, Peking, 1898, serial number 60952, dark blue frame on red, brown and orange, bank coat of arms upper centre, '1' at each corner, manuscript signature at right of lower centre, reverse, similar colours, Chinese text,(Pick A39a), PMG 55 About Uncirculated, a very good looking note and getting very difficult to find in this high grade. The second highest grade in the PMG population report with only one other note graded higher in 64!.
