ADMIRAL LORD NELSON OF THE NILE, uniformed bust facing slightly right; below, BRITAIN'S GLORY & DEFENSE / ALMIGHTY GOD HAS BLESSED HIS MAJESTY'S ARMS, ship under sail forward amid billows of smoke; two ships with raised sails to either side; in exergue, FRENCH FLEET DEFEATED/ AUGUST 1 1798. Hardy 10; BHM 452; Eimer 893. Warm brown surfaces. Superb EF.
