Bavaria. Ludwig I "Loyalty" Taler 1830 MS64 Prooflike NGC, Munich mint, KM750, Dav-566, AKS-125, Thun-58. Commemorating the loyalty of the Bavarians to the royal family. The better of just two examples of this emission which NGC has awarded with a coveted Prooflike designation, a considerable achievement given the lack of mint records from the time that any of these commemoratives were struck as Proofs. Undeniably mirrorlike and flashy throughout, the devices all seem imbued with a special painstaking execution that has left them with sharp, boldly defined edges.
