Obverse: Richard, holding sword and shield, standing facing in ship with bowsprit; ornaments: -1-1-1, ropes: 3/1, quatrefoils: 4/4, lis: 4/3; stops: saltire, lis on rudder, rose on ship to right of shield; Reverse: Voided short cross potent over cross fleuree; in each angle, crown over lion passant over trefoil; at center, R within quadrilobe; all within polylobe, with trefoils in spandrels; stops: saltire.
