HGC-3.1, 583. Obverse: Facing gorgoneion with protruding tongue; Reverse: Quadripartite incuse square. A type generally encountered on somewhat irregular flans, as is the case here, this specimen nevertheless fits most of the gorgoneion on the metal, with a bold and expressive one at that.
