Obverse: Facade of the Jerusalem Temple, containing showbread table; "Simon" around; Reverse: Lulav; etrog to left; "for the freedom of Israel" around. Very attractively toned and well centered overall, this wholesome example emanates from the final year of the revolt. Overstruck on a provincial tetradrachm likely from Antioch, as is customary for the type.
