EASTERN EUROPE, Imitations of Philip II of Macedon. Late 4th-3rd centuries BC. AR Tetradrachm (25mm, 13.68 g, 5h). Mint in the lower Danube region. Laureate head of Zeus right / Nude youth, holding palm, on horseback right; below, Λ above torch; to lower right, sunburst symbol. OTA 10/3; Flesche 636 (this coin); Lanz 352; CCCBM I –; KMW 953. Lightly toned, minor die flaw on obverse, nicely centered. Good VF. Attractive early Celtic imitation.
