MIDDLE DANUBE. Uncertain tribe. 2nd-1st century BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 23 mm, 12.06 g, 8 h), 'Kapostal' type. Celticized laureate head of Zeus to right. Rev. Celticized horseman to left, wearing crested helmet; to left, torc; below, figure-of-eight ornament. Dembski 1413. Flesche 570. Lanz 773. OTA 484/4. Minor deposits and with thin flan cracks, otherwise, very fine.
