CALABRIA, Tarentum. Punic occupation. Circa 212-209 BC. AR Reduced Nomos – Half-Shekel (18mm, 3.67 g, 6h). Warrior, wearing full armor, holding filleted palm frond, on horse walking right; ΣΩKΛN-NΛΣ below / Phalanthos, holding kantharos and trident, riding dolphin left; to right, eagle standing left, wings spread. Vlasto 984–6; HN Italy 1082. Lightly toned, flan crack, a few light scratches, minor laminations on reverse. EF.
