LUCANIA, Metapontion. Circa 330-290 BC. AR Nomos (20mm, 7.91 g, 10h). Wreathed head of Demeter left / Barley ear of seven grains, leaf to left; tongs above leaf, [AΘ]A below. Johnston Class C, 4.21 (same dies); HN Italy 1583; SNG ANS 460 (same obv. die); SNG Fitzwilliam 511 (same dies). Lovely cabinet tone, a few small scratches, graffito in field on obverse. Good VF.
