Cisalpine Gaul, uncertain tribe AR Obol. Circa late 2nd to 1st century BC. Imitating Massalia. Celticised head of male to right, wearing pearl necklace / Stylised lion to left; five pellets above. For similar imitative examples, cf. CCBM II 29-34; Roma 91, 33; Leu 4, 91. 0.69g, 12mm, 6h.

Extremely Fine; a sharply struck example, featuring an attractive old cabinet tone and hints of blue iridescence. Extremely Rare.
