Carlos III Pillar 8 Reales 1768 G-P, KM18, Cal-93. AU53 NGC. Well struck, especially on the pillar side with remarkable detail on the waves under the globes. Superb toning overall over unmarked fields and some luster on the shield side. 114,606 pieces minted. The most common date for this type but in truly desirable grade. Much more appealing than the numerical grade assigned and a superior example of the type. Ex. Freeman Craig (3/1981, lot 82 for $2,050).From The Isaac Rudman Collection of Guatemala Coins
