Central American Republic 8 Reales 1824 NG-M, KM4, MS62 NGC. A Mint State specimen of this historically important first year of this classic and beautiful design. The mountains side is definitely in the choice category, with a fantastic strike. When offering this same specimen Freeman Craig called that side "the FINEST of the type I have ever seen or imagined!". The reverse is somewhat diminished by a long adjustment mark, but remains uncirculated with much luster. Still, an uncommonly attractive specimen of this type. Ex. Freeman Craig (3/1981, lot 105 for $1,000).From The Isaac Rudman Collection of Guatemala Coins
