Awarded to Henry Hulbert. Obv. Royal Arms with motto beneath. Rev. Arms supported by dragons and motto of the City of London, awardee panel beneath. A moderately gray toned example with some wear on the highest devices. This historic medal was issued to stockbrokers in the City of London beginning in 1697 in order to help prove their legitimacy to the public. From an approximate mintage of 1,625 for the type and the 15th example to appear (including institutional examples) in the Naylor census.Ex: "Colonel" E.H.R.
